Conférence de l’International Panel on Exiting Violence (IPEV/FMSH) à l’American University de Beyrouth (Liban) les 20-22 juin 2018. Présentation « One year and a half after the Kick-Off of the International Panel on Exiting Violence in Paris, the panel presents recommendations for exiting violence at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.
The three-days conference will be the occasion for several roundtables, panel discussions and conferences with outstanding speakers from the panel and from all over the world. This event is decisive as it precedes the official publication of the report (Autumn 2018). The ten working groups will then highlight the main points of their respective chapters and meet during workshops in order to finalize their works and recommendations. «

Vidéo sur la radicalisation au Liban par Marie Kortam. Marie Kortam is a member of the working group “Radicalisation, a comparative perspective“. She is an Associate Researcher at the French Institute of the Near East (IFPO – Beirut) and a member of the Arab Council for Social Sciences. Her research focuses on globalised violence, the radicalisation process, segregation, reconfigurations and practices of violence in a comparative analysis between Europe and the Middle-East.
