Salary: starting at £28,936 and rising to £32,548 per annum, pro rata

Job description
The Department of Sociology, within the School of Law, Politics and Sociology, at the University of Sussex is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant for a six-month contract to work on a British Academy/Leverhulme funded project entitled ‘“Prevent Duty”: Understanding the Effects of Counter-Terrorism Policy within Secondary and Further Education Institutions’. You will work closely with the principal investigator, Dr Suraj Lakhani, on a range of research and administrative activities, including (but not limited to), undertaking a comprehensive literature review, analysing interview data, assisting with organising a one day conference to be held at the University of Sussex.
