The role

The post of Lecturer in Middle East Politics will contribute to extending the research profile of Middle East Politics and the international relations of Middle East countries at Exeter, particularly in areas related or complementary to the history, politics, and international relations of Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Kurdistan.

The post will include the coordination and teaching of a Level 1 introductory module to Middle East politics, and the delivery of more specialised modules focusing upon the history and politics of Iran, Iraq, and Kurdistan. The post may also be required to teach other modules as required and there is an expectation that the holder will support the supervision of PGR students researching the politics of Iran, Iraq, and Kurdistan, as well as broader subjects related to Middle East Politics and International Relations.
