Publication sur le site “Illiberalism” d’une interview de Noah Tucker (program associate at George Washington University’s Elliot School of International Affairs Central Asia Program & Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council Eurasia Center) sur l’idéologie djihadiste.

Concernant Illiberalism : The Illiberalism Studies Program is hosted at the Institute for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (IERES). IERES is part of The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.”

Extrait : “In recent years as I’ve had the opportunity to interview more people who demobilized from jihadist groups, I’ve asked them about why they chose to join the specific group that they did. I have been somewhat surprised at how little importance they often assign to ideology in that decision. More often, this process seems to have more to do with a larger conflict they find themselves within, and the mechanisms joining that group might offer them to resolve that conflict.”
